Chanda has been designing for more than 25 years. Believing that collaboration and understanding is the key to creating exceptional interiors, she takes pride in helping her clients transform their space and make it more than they thought possible.

Chanda found a passion for design before she was even aware of the profession. Coming from a rural northern mid-west community, art and design were far from the norm. Through self-study and exploring design she discovered a world of possibility.  After learning what an interior designer does, she knew it was the thing she was meant to do.  Chanda pursued her degree and graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in Interior Design.  Following internships in Billings, MT she started as an Assistant Designer at Kibler & Kirch in Red Lodge, MT.

Since those early days of learning and education, Chanda has been building a successful design practice, creating beauty and functional spaces across the mountain west. With an extraordinary eye for detail and a gift for transforming spaces and environments her company, Designer Interiors, has grown dramatically. In the winter of 2019, she celebrated a dream come true to relocate Designer Interiors’ home base to Red Lodge, MT. Designer Interiors is known for creating exceptional interiors that accentuate the aesthetic and functionality their client's desire.
